AMMO SHORTAGE 

EVERY DAY we get asked, “when do you plan on making more of this or that”?

Right now we are in the midst of the greatest US ammo shortage of all time, except perhaps during the Great Depression and WW11.

We order components from our suppliers and hope some arrive, so we can make ammo, but WE NEVER KNOW HOW MUCH OF WHAT COMPONENTS WILL SHOW UP OR WHEN. We control how much of what items we order, but not how much shows up during this major shortage, if any, so we do not plan on what we will be making as we do not know and cannot know. Many items we order, NEVER show up!

When one person sends us an email asking when we will have some more of item # (insert any number) such and such or “do you plan on making more of item such and such”, to the person asking that question, they think they are the only one asking, but I promise, we are getting asked this many times per day. There is a nation-wide ammo shortage, which is causing a worldwide ammo shortage, so you are not the only person asking, not even close.

Let’s not even discuss employee shortages and Covid shutdowns (we’ve had three) and what that does to our ability to produce!

If we were to take the time to answer these email questions every day, all day, we won’t get ammo made for our customers, so when we do not answer you, we are not trying to be rude, but we are trying to get work done in order to service all our customers…..which means we are making ammo, not sitting at a computer. This entire Covid-farce has unnecessarily caused ammo supply disruptions of unknown magnitudes. We are in uncharted waters, which we did not want, did not ask for and did not cause, so please do not beat us up over it. We are doing our best.

I wrote this little explanation so I can simply send it to you instead of typing out the same answer many times a day to customers who want to know when we will have more of any item. Honestly, I wish we could answer those types of questions, but these days, there is no way for us to know what next week or next month brings. The smartest thing to do is to check our site often to see what is in stock. This is piss poor customer service, but due to circumstances out of our control, it is the best we can do right now.
