Please note the below real world velocities taken from real-world firearms:

➤  1326 fps – 6 inch Freedom Arms 475 Linebaugh, with 475 cylinder 
➤  1335 fps – 9.59 inch Ruger Super Redhawk

You’ll note that the Ruger, with its 3.5 inch longer barrel only gave 9 fps more velocity than the 6 inch FA revolver.  This is because of the tighter chambers and tighter barrel/cylinder gap on the FA revolver.

At the time of this writing (10-05-14), the bullet we are using weighs an average of 382 grs., not the 370 grs. we advertise, yet it is going faster than we advertise. This is a serious big game load in the 480 Ruger cartridge.

This bullet is gas checked and will not lead foul your barrel. This bullet also shows extremely good accuracy in our test guns.
