BUFFALO BORE’S NEW 230 GR. HARD CAST, FLAT NOSE 35 REMINGTON AMMUNITION

Friends, for decades, I have been getting customer requests for a heavy, hard-hitting, flat-nosed, gas-checked bullet loading for the 35 Remington.

This load is significant in that it will penetrate living mammalian tissues much deeper (two to three times deeper) than any expanding bullet. For those of you willing to shoot a northbound elk in his south area, this bullet will end up in his chest area vitals. If shooting thin-bodied deer broadside, be aware that if you line up three or four deer correctly, one shot will put a hole in all of them.

There is no reason not to tackle elk or moose with this load, as you will get ample penetration.

As you can see, this load, although the bullet is 10 grs. heavier than our jacketed 35 Rem. load develops just as much velocity due to not having a jacket.
