ITEM 47E

As per popular demand, Buffalo Bore is introducing seven new 458 SOCOM loads that will fill every possible need 458 SOCOM shooters may have. For those who want to hunt big game, destroy cars or houses, or do close range sniping with an AR platform firearm, the 458 SOCOM has no equal.

Item 47E is designed to be used against all large N. American Game like Bison, AK/Yukon moose, and very large bears—just as item 47C is.  47E will out-penetrate item 47C by about 10-15% in living flesh and bone, but 47C penetrates plenty deep enough to kill any N. American mammal shot from any angle. Item 47E burns a little dirtier than a jacketed bullet load because of the bullet lube used on hard cast bullets, but it did not burn dirty enough to significantly foul my action or gas system. The hard cast bullet used in Item 47E utilizes a gas check, and it will not lead foul any normal barrel.

47A & 47B

Our hunting loads for medium-sized game (items 47A and 47B) will hammer deer, medium sized hogs and bear with aplomb.
