It seems as though Linebaugh brass is a tough find these days, so I'm very glad to be able to purchase it through BBA. The brass I received for my 475 is Starline, which, as far as I can tell, is among the top producers. All cases were sparkly clean and dent-free. I gather that Starline states that their new brass is ready-to-load and does not require sizing before the first loading, but I did it anyway to make sure I got all the bullet pull I could. If you purchase these, be aware that Starline makes its Linebaugh brass with large rifle primer pockets. I have seen virtually no data for loads using pistol powders with rifle primers, but I am given to understand that use of a rifle primer can substantially increase pressure with any given powder charge in a handgun. I have used only pistol primers (WLP & CCI-350) so far and have had no issues. However, I was able to seat these primers (with a hand priming tool) to a depth of .02" below flush in the case. At this depth, my BFR ignited them, but given how many custom Linebaughs are out there, some guns may be more or less finicky about primer seating depth. Seating with my Lee press gave a closer-to-normal seating depth of about .006"-.008". Overall, I'm very happy with this brass.
